As a result of Israel’s attack on the city of Nabatiya, located 75 kilometers south of Beirut, the capital of Lebanon, the death toll has reached 16.
Oku.Az TASS reports that this was reported by the Emergency Operations Center of the Lebanese Ministry of Health.
It is reported that the number of injured exceeded 50 people. Most of the dead were discovered by rescuers while clearing debris from buildings in the city center.
As a result of the strike, the mayor of Nabatiya city, Ahmed Heil, and five members of the municipal council died.
