Verkhovna Rada deputy: “Citizens had the opportunity to freely vote for their candidates”

“Deputies of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine conducted surveillance in 10 districts as part of monitoring the extraordinary parliamentary elections held in Azerbaijan.”

This was stated by Verkhovna Rada member Volodymyr Kreydenko.

“This is not the first election I have observed in Azerbaijan, and all of them were organized freely, without any pressure. Today, my colleagues and I visited ten polling stations in Baku. At all polling stations, citizens had the opportunity to freely vote for their candidates,” he said.

According to the MP, the most important thing for the observer is democracy and respect for international law.

V. Kreydenko also stressed that he highly appreciates Azerbaijan’s assistance to Ukraine.
