The German air traffic control service (DFS) in Langen has been the target of a hacker attack, Bild reported, citing a representative of the department.
“Our office communications have been hacked and we are currently taking protective measures.” – said a representative of the service, the local newspaper reports.
DFS is trying to minimise the impact of a cyber attack. According to it, air traffic was not affected and continues to operate normally. It is not yet known whether the attackers managed to access the data. Security authorities have been informed of the incident, Bild reports.
