“Azerbaijan, host of COP29, actively listens to and cooperates with all stakeholders.”
This was stated by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Ivory Coast, Kacu Huadja Leon Adom, in a statement to the American office “Report”.
The minister added that he closely follows the activities of the Azerbaijan COP team:
“They meet with countries fighting the consequences of climate change, establish contact with all parties. It is an important issue, because to achieve successful results we must act together. We have informed the government of Azerbaijan about climate problems in our country. It remains very little time until COP29 and we believe that we will make positive progress in Baku.”
The head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs also said that he will visit Azerbaijan for the first time within the framework of COP29.
