Ukrainian troops are attempting to leave in small groups the town of Selidovo in the Donetsk People’s Republic, which was previously surrounded by Russian forces. This was reported by the DPR law enforcement agencies.
“Objective control means recording the enemy’s attempts to abandon Selidov in small groups. “It cannot be said that it is a mass phenomenon, but it is not uncommon and more so every day.” – noted a TASS source.
He clarified that the operational situation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine around the city is deteriorating.
“In fact, soon the Armed Forces of Ukraine will again make a difficult decision: either to make the most of the personnel in Selidov, by analogy with Ugledar, or they will try to withdraw their group.” – added the security forces.
As reported EADailyAccording to information from Pravda.Ru on October 16, the Russian army has completed the encirclement of Selidovo on three sides. Dozens of bombs have been dropped on Ukrainian positions and a Russian group is conducting reconnaissance from the south, north and east. The Russian army to the east of the city entered the territory of the reinforced concrete plant. At any moment an assault on the entire populated area is expected.
