Kamala Harris assures on ‘Fox News’ that her presidency “will not be a continuation of that of Joe Biden”

The Democratic candidate for the White House, the current American vice president Kamala Harrisassures that if he wins the elections, his government will not be a continuation of the current one of Joe Biden. “Let me be very clear: my presidency will not be a continuation of the presidency of Joe Biden” Harris said in a tense interview with the conservative Fox News network on Wednesday, the first on that outlet since she assumed the Democratic nomination three months ago.

Harris took advantage of this interview consumed by a conservative audience to distance from Bidenvery unpopular with Republican voters. The vice president also used this space to define her Republican rival, the former president. Donald Trump as someone who “is not qualified to hold the position, It’s unstable and it’s dangerous“.

“People are tired of someone who claims to be a leader but spends his time putting others down and engaging in personal grievances,” Harris asserted about Trump, ideas that Fox News viewers don’t typically hear about the former president.

Beyond Biden and Trump, the interview mainly focused on the question of migrationone of the main concerns of Americans. Harris made it clear that she was not in favor of decriminalizing irregular crossings at the southern border of the United States. “I don’t believe in decriminalizing border crossings. I didn’t do that as vice president. And I will not do it as president,” she assured.

Harris gave this interview the same day he was participating in a event with dozens of Republicans. “No matter what party you are, no matter who you voted for last time, there is a place for you in this campaign“, the vice president said at the event in the key state of Pennsylvania. In her speech, Harris also said that Trump “is increasingly unstable and unbalanced.”
