This same Thursday, the Metropolitan Waste Treatment Entity (EMTRE) of Valencia, governed by an absolute majority by the Popular Party, approved during its General Assembly an increase on average of 23% for the year 2025 of the “tariff Tamer.” . This tax, which citizens pay on their water bill, taxes the provision of the metropolitan service for the treatment and elimination of urban waste.
