The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, spoke this Thursday from Brussels, after the meeting of the European Council, for the first time on the investigation opened by the Supreme Court (TS) against the Attorney General of the State, Álvaro García Ortiz. Sánchez showed unequivocal support for his performance because, he said, “he did his job. “He did what he had to do.”
The head of the Executive, who said he “respects” the “position” of the TS, affirmed that what García Ortiz has done “are two things: persecuting criminals and, secondly, combating disinformation and deception.”
