Residents of the capital are dissatisfied with some Housing and Construction Cooperatives (HCC).
Thus, they complain about the funds collected by the MTKs under the name of “curfew money.”
This rate is calculated based on the area (square meter) of the apartment. Prices start at 20 kopecks and in some buildings go up to 2 manats.
Experts believe that it is not logical to determine rates in apartment buildings based on the area of the apartment.
According to the legislation, if a building is put into operation and more than half of the residents acquire ownership rights to their apartments, MTK’s management of that building must be terminated.
