The 16-year-old Spaniard arrested Wednesday evening as the alleged perpetrator of the assassination of Isidro de las Heras Blasco, the 62-year-old taxi driver stabbed Tuesday in the emergency parking lot of the Príncipe de Asturias hospital in Alcalá. de Henares, was betrayed for his mother. Isidro’s colleagues, however, stressed that the savage attack was carried out without any arguments.

Thus, a capture of the black and white image of the minor inside the car went viral and his mother saw it on social networks Wednesday afternoon.
As the suspect fled the crime scene, Isidro got out of the taxi as best he could, asking for help. Some doctors at the door helped him and he was admitted to the intensive care unit, where he died the next morning. The minor hid in the family home until his immediate arrest by Homicide Group VI of the Madrid Judicial Police Brigade.
From now on, he will be subjected, among other tests, to a psychological evaluation. One of the extremes being investigated is whether, as it appears, he has drug problems. What is clear is that he does not belong to any youth gang, police sources insist. But also that this is a problematic individual with a history of other acts of violence, although logically not of this caliber.
Today, at 1 p.m., taxi drivers from Alcalá and other municipalities in the region gathered in the city’s Cervantes Square, as a sign of rejection of what happened. In November 2019, the same town suffered the assassination of another colleague, whose throat was slit.
