The assassination of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar by the Israeli army will strengthen the “spirit of resistance” and become an example for young people, Iran’s mission to the UN said.
On Thursday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) officially announced that Sinwar, considered the main mastermind and organizer of the attack on Israel on October 7, 2023, was killed in the Gaza Strip by the Israeli army.
“He (Sinwar) will become an example for the youth and children who will continue their path towards the liberation of Palestine. “As long as there is occupation and aggression, the resistance will continue because the martyr is still alive and remains a source of inspiration.” – indicated the Iranian mission on its page on the social network X.
They also noted that when Muslims look at “martyr Sinwar,” who appears in front of the enemy, “the spirit of resistance will be strengthened.”
