Employers in the sector say they need 1,500 drivers, for whom the aid promoted by the Ministry of Mobility will be extended.
The Ministry of Mobility and Digital Transformation and the Association of Goods Transport Companies (Asetra) of Valladolid agreed yesterday to promote actions aimed at accelerating the procedures for the arrival of professional drivers of other nationalities with the aim of reducing the existing deficit.
In this way, the Autonomous Government supports with this measure the demand of employers, who need 1,500 drivers in Castile and León. Thus, the general director of Transport and Logistics, Laura Paredes, and the president of Asetra de Valladolid, Virginia Muñoz, coincided in a meeting in which the director of the consulting firm of the company Grupo Internacional also participated Talent, Diego Carbajosa. .
The Council reported on extension of help to the promotion of new professional drivers, supported by agreements with Cotracyl and Fecylbus, and valid respectively until December 20 and March 15, reports Ical. The amount of this aid is 300,000 euroswith a maximum individual amount of 1,800 euros (900 for the driving license and 900 for the Professional Aptitude Certificate).
