Shortly before 7 a.m., an incident on tracks 7 and 8 of Cercanías station of the station which serves all lines except the C-9, affected trains to and from Alcobendas and San Sebastián de los Reyes.

According to Adif sources consulted by ABC, vehicles belonging to the C-4a bound for Alcobendas and San Sebastian de los Reyes end their journey at the Chamartín station. On the other hand, the trains of the C-5 line to Fuenlabrada do not run regularlydue to the closure of both lines at Atocha station.
On the C-5, the rail connection between the Móstoles-El Soto and Humanes stations is maintained. The responsible company said operators were working to restore service “as quickly as possible”without providing estimated time frames for resolving the incident.
