The new documentary from the Provincial Delegation of Alicante covers the most unique and remote landscapes of the province

The Provincial Deputation of Alicante presents the documentary this Saturday at 7:00 p.m. at the ADDA. “Alicante. Unique Territory» with new and spectacular images of hidden places in the province taken in all seasons of the year.

The first vice-president and deputy of Economy and Communication, Ana Serna, plans to attend the presentation of the film, a production of the Image Department of the provincial institution which closes the series documentary ‘Alicante city by city’. “We are faced with a work which brings together, in each of its very careful plans, the best of our landscape heritage, unpublished images of the entire provincial geography to show citizens the most hidden and remote corners of our territory. an intimate point of view. and poetic, in short, a new tool to better know the province”, explained Serna.

The documentary is divided into six blocks or landscapeseach of them dedicated to a characteristic that defines and makes the Costa Blanca unique: the sea, memory, light or silence. The film brings together the essence of the series “Pueblo a Pueblo”, a work produced in 2012 by Domingo Rodes and José Pérez, currently still on the air and which has around five million views on the YouTube channel of the Provincial Deputation. More than ten years ago, with the origins of this series, “Alicante. Unique Territory’, as a luxury epilogue with its own identity that preserves the essence of the 141 communes, but includes an original soundtrack, a different treatment and new images.

During a long shoot, between 2013 and 2021, Rodes was also in charge of this work, which witnessed historic snowfalls (2017 and 2020) and suffered and overcame a global pandemic, among other events, briefly summarized below. 60 minutes. The documentary, scripted by Jose Benito Ruiz and original music by David Prats, traces part of our history, our leisure activities and our gastronomy; part of our landscape diversity, with mountains and rivers, caves and beaches, coves and churches, cliffs and hermitages, waterfalls and castles.

The film is offered in Spanish, Valencian and English versions and stars renowned voices from the Spanish cinema scene such as Mercé Montalá, Luis Porcar, Juan Carlos Gustems, Juan Antonio Bernal, Miguel Ángel Jenner and Nuria Trifol, among others.
