The final of Public Speaking World Cup: “It’s debatable” has a winner: Alberto García Chaparro from Malaga, student at the Pontifical University of Comillas (Madrid). “The World Cup is the realization of my life’s dream. After seven years in the world of public speaking, this is the final step of a trajectory that changed me forever“, said the world champion from Malaga at the end of the competition.
García Chaparro beat the native of Lugo Oscar Rodriguez de Vivero, from the Carlos III University of Madrid, in a contested final of the World Championship of Public Speaking in Spanish.
The World Cup final, organized by the Spanish University Debate League (Ledu) and the Latin American Network for University Cooperation, It was held at the University of Belgrano (Buenos Aires, Argentina).
