The Andalusian Government has The Emergency Plan was deactivated this Friday evening facing the risk of flooding, once all rain weather warnings in the region have ended, as part of the strong storm that hit the region, according to the Unified Emergency Service 112.

Malaga and Cádiz were the most affected provinces with 526 in Cádiz, 481 in Malaga, incidents handled respectively, followed by Granada with 228 and Seville with 213, in addition to Almería with 153, Huelva with 125, Jaén with 51 and Córdoba with 34.

THE DANA left one deceased in the region, a 71-year-old man died in the Clinical Hospital after being rescued from a farm in Alhaurín de la Torre, Málaga. and suffered several cardiorespiratory arrests, as well as several injuries in Malaga and the province of Huelva, in addition to considerable material damage.

The episode It started on Monday with a strong hailstorm in Almería which particularly affected El Ejido in the early morning; and in the morning towards the municipalities of the Guadalhorce valley in Malaga.

Since then, precipitation has reached the different Andalusian provinces. so Wednesday a strong waterspout hit the province of Cádiz and this particularly affected the municipality of Jerez, where the rise of the Guadalete last Thursday led to the preventive evacuation of up to four rural neighborhoods: El Portal, La Corta, Greduela and Las Pachecas, whose 211 inhabitants were able to return at 11:00 a.m. this Friday, November 1st.

Thursday also had a particular impact on province of Huelva where DANA began to be felt in the form of a sleeve of water in the area of ​​Isla Cristina, where a man was injured by a loose sheet metal, and in the area of ​​Ayamonte. Since then and until mid-afternoon of the feast day of this Friday, the province of Huelva recorded floods in both the coast as in the region of Andévalo and Condado.

The ministry also activated the Adverse Weather Monitoring Group that for five days he has worked without interruption to strengthen coordination and monitoring mechanisms while rain warnings were in force in the autonomous community.
