Possible Israeli attack on Iran

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi made a statement regarding a possible Israeli retaliatory attack following Iran’s recent unprecedented attack on the country.

“Anyone who knows how and when Israel will attack Iran will be held responsible,” he said.

Araghchi made the announcement after US President Biden noted that “he knows when and how” a backlash could occur.

As previously reported, the day before, US President Joe Biden said that there was a possibility of a temporary resolution of the conflict between Israel and Iran. This statement was made against the backdrop of a worsening situation in the Middle East following Iran’s missile attacks on Israel on October 1.

Biden highlighted that his administration, along with its allies, is exploring opportunities to engage with both sides of the conflict, which could lead to a temporary reduction in hostilities and a reduction in tensions.

Previously, Kursor wrote that Iran had suspended all passenger flights until November 24 amid growing fears of a possible attack by Israel. At the moment, Iranian authorities have not made official statements about the reasons for the cancellation of the flights, but analysts link the measure to rising tensions and recent threats of attacks on Iranian military facilities.

Furthermore, Kursor already reported that journalist Sergei Auslender expressed the opinion that Israel is not capable of destroying Iran’s military infrastructure in a single attack. He estimated that achieving this objective would require a sequence of carefully planned strategic attacks.
