Israel did not have to wait long for a “response” to the assassination of one of the Hamas leaders in the Gaza Strip. The Lebanese group Hezbollah attacked the residence of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.
As The Times of Israel reports, citing the Prime Minister’s Office, a drone launched from Lebanon attacked a building located next to Netanyahu’s home.
“A total of 6 unmanned aerial vehicles were launched, some of which were intercepted. “One of the drones flew 70 kilometers, almost collided with a helicopter and landed next to the Prime Minister’s residence.” – says the statement.
There were no casualties as a result of the attack. Netanyahu himself and his wife Sarah were outside the residence. Special services have arrived at the scene and there is currently increased activity in the skies over Caesarea by fighter jets and military helicopters.
Previously EADaily reported that the Israeli army killed the leader of Hamas Yahya Sinwara. The leader of the group died as a result of a gunshot wound to the head.
