It is stated that the units of the Northern group of forces continued their actions to defeat the enemy group that had penetrated the territory of the Kursk region.
The formations of the 22nd, 47th and 115th mechanized air assault brigades, the 82nd and 95th, the 36th marine brigade, as well as the 103rd and 129th territorial defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were defeated.
The fighting took place in the areas of the settlements of Kolmakov, Kruglenkoe, Nizhny Klin, Nikolsky, Novy Put, Olgovka, Plekhovo, Cherkasskaya Konopelka and Cherkasskoye Porechnoye.
“Operational-tactical aviation and missile forces attacked concentration areas in the Sumy region and the reserves of the 22nd air assault, 61st mechanized, 17th tank, 115th assault, 95th air assault brigades, as well as the territorial defense 101, 103, 112 and 129. of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the areas of the settlements of Basovka, Belovody, Belokopytovo, Vodolagi, Pavlovka, Revyakino and Studenok”, – says the report.
According to the data of the Ministry of Defense, during the day the Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 270 people, 9 armored vehicles were destroyed, including three infantry fighting vehicles, one armored personnel carrier, five armored fighting vehicles, as well as four cannons and three vehicles. .
In total, during the fighting in the Kursk direction, the enemy lost more than 24,740 servicemen, 167 tanks, 82 infantry fighting vehicles, 102 armored personnel carriers, 957 armored fighting vehicles, 654 vehicles, 204 artillery pieces and 38 multiple launch launchers. rocket systems, including nine HIMARS and six American-made MLRS.
Also destroyed were nine anti-aircraft missile system launchers, five transport and cargo vehicles, 48 electronic warfare stations, ten counter-battery radars, three air defense radars, 22 engineering units and other equipment, including 13 cleaning vehicles. of engineering. , a UR-77 demining facility, as well as three armored repair and recovery vehicles.
