Agents of the Municipality of Alicante highlight the “serious irregularities” committed by an establishment, with illegal items, after an inspection
The Benidorm Local Police launched an alert via its social networks after the “serious irregularities” detected in an establishment in the city of Alicante.
During an inspection, the municipal body discovered that the premises were for sale 2,000 vapeselectronic cigarettes with different flavors which have gained great popularity, especially among young people.
A product that must be marketed in accordance with the guidelines of the Health Measures Against Smoking Act. By not respecting the regulations, the agents removed and intervened the articles illegally traded.
“These products are not toys,” we remind the Local Police. “They may contain substances harmful such as diacetyl, nicotine, formaldehyde and its use can cause lung, heart or even cancer,” they warn.
This is why they ask users to ensure that the “vapers” they buy, in approved establishments, have successfully passed the mandatory checks and meet all health requirements.
