My relationship with WhatsApp is a bit of love-hate. On the one hand, it makes it much easier for me to communicate with many people, however, on several occasions I have considered abandoning the app altogether. This would put me in a compromising situation compared to certain people. For example, talking to my mother would be problematic because it would force her to exclusively use the phone call to communicate. I would also push her to learn to use other systems such as RCS communication, so that we understand each other, the evolution of traditional SMS. Anyway, in this article I want to show you how to delete a whatsapp account and raise the debate on the possibility of leaving the application to communicate in another way.
Delete your WhatsApp account?
I know of many cases of people who deleted their WhatsApp account and did not return to it. I think this is a fantastic position, because currently You have other options that fulfill this role. And it is true that WhatsApp, at many times, takes a long time and consumes a lot of energy.

You need to open the application and click on the “Settings” icon. Once you’ve done that, find the “Account” tab. For an Android mobile, click on the three vertical dots in the upper right corner of the screen to display the menu. Next, select “Settings”.
Then in this menu you will see several options, and at the end of everything you will find the option “Delete account”.
The application itself warns of all the consequences of deleting an account. You will stop enjoying all services, groups, you will lose message history and backup. Just below, you will need to re-enter your phone number as a means of control and click on the “Delete my account” button.
From that moment on, your WhatsApp account has made history and you will have freed yourself from the slavery that this application could pose.
