According to Rosselkhoznadzor, since the beginning of this year, 215 cases of detection of quarantine products for EAEU member countries arriving in the Russian Federation from Kazakhstan have been identified, four times more than the figure for the same period in 2023.

In September, Rosselkhoznadzor addressed its Kazakh colleagues asking them to suspend the issuance of phytosanitary certificates for a number of regulated products imported into Russia, but their issuance, as well as cases of detection of violations, continued. Furthermore, the results of the investigation on the identification of objects under quarantine were not provided.
