IDF forces destroyed one of the key tunnels of Hezbollah’s fighting wing in southern Lebanon.
According to the Israel Defense Forces, the tunnel belonged to the elite Radwan unit and was a strategically important facility used to store weapons and equipment.
The tunnel also contained a command center, living quarters and equipment, including scooters.
During the operation, sappers discovered many weapons and military equipment near the tunnel. In total, more than 50 tunnels and their branches, as well as three large tunnels, have recently been destroyed in southern Lebanon. To successfully detonate these objects, more than 100 tons of explosives were used, which indicates the magnitude of the operation.
The IDF continues to actively neutralize Hezbollah’s infrastructure in the region as part of a strategy to ensure security in border areas and reduce the threat from the Lebanese Shiite group.

The Israel Defense Forces’ Seventh Brigade carried out a successful operation at a school complex in southern Lebanon where weapons caches and underground mines used by the terrorist organization Hezbollah were discovered. During the operation, the fighters neutralized warehouses with military equipment and weapons, including RPG missiles and other types of weapons.
In southern Lebanon, 7th Brigade forces continue systematic attacks against terrorist infrastructure. So far, more than 120 objects have been destroyed, including tunnel mines and more than 20 weapons warehouses. Israeli aircraft also played a major role in these operations, striking dozens of Hezbollah-linked targets.
One of the key attacks saw the destruction of a military complex located in the center of a Lebanese village, along with civilian objects. Here, terrorists have created an extensive network of infrastructure, including shelters with large quantities of ammunition. Thanks to the precise actions of the army, important arsenals of weapons were eliminated, reducing the threat of Hezbollah in the area.
