On October 18, residents were evacuated from the building where the explosion occurred in Ganja.
According to Kamran Maharramov, deputy head of the executive authority of the city of Ganja, 35 families were evacuated from the building:
“Currently, the process of placing those families in rental apartments is continuing. The Ganja City Executive Authority will provide financial assistance so that the families can pay the rent.
After checking the complete stability of the building, it will be decided whether we will tear it down and rebuild it or repair it.”
