Law enforcement agencies of Kazakhstan and Russia agreed to cooperate in the fight against cybercrime. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
The corresponding agreement was signed at a meeting in Moscow with the participation of the Ministers of the Interior of Kazakhstan Erzhana Sadenova and the Russian Federation Vladimir Kolokoltsev.
The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Office for the Coordination of Combating Organized Crime and Other Dangerous Types of Crime in the Territory of the CIS Member States.
The departments examined the issue of cooperation between the internal affairs bodies of Kazakhstan and Russia in the fight against cybercrimes, including Internet fraud. In addition, the ministers signed a joint decision and planned activities for the next period.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and mutual respect, which contributed to constructive dialogue and important decisions.
