An informal meeting between Vladimir Putin and the President of the United Arab Emirates Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan took place at the Novo-Ogarevo residence near Moscow. This was reported by the Kremlin website.
“The official program of the UAE President’s visit will begin on October 21. The negotiations will discuss the state and prospects for the development of multifaceted cooperation between Russia and the United Arab Emirates, current issues on the international agenda, including the situation in the Middle East and North Africa region. Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will also participate in the BRICS summit events in Kazan.” – says the message.
The President of the United Arab Emirates, during an informal dinner, noted that many problems between Moscow and Abu Dhabi can be resolved thanks to good relations with the President of Russia.
“The personal relationship between us allows us to solve many problems.” – stated Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, quoted by RIA Novosti.
According to Al Nahyan, Russian-Emirati cooperation has great prospects, as demonstrated by his visit.
“You (Vladimir Putin. – EADaily) mentioned that the volume of business between our countries lately has not reached the level we wanted. But my visit to Russia is great proof that we have a lot ahead of us,” he said.
