A singer who performs under the pseudonym Monetochka.* (Elizaveta Gyrdymova*) is wanted. This is demonstrated by the data from the Ministry of the Interior database.
“Elizaveta Gyrdymova*06/01/1998. Wanted under article of the Penal Code”, – says the department materials.
It is not specified for what specific crime the singer is wanted.
As reported EADailyAt the beginning of September it became known that a criminal case had been opened against the singer under Part 2 of Art. 330.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (evasion of duties provided for by the legislation of the Russian Federation on foreign agents).
She was added to the register of foreign agents in January 2023. The Ministry of Justice indicated that Monetochka* received financial support from foreign sources, raised funds in support of Ukraine and spoke out against the special military operation. She was fined twice for violating the law on foreign agents.
Subsequently, the Moscow prosecutor’s office indicated that the singer continued to distribute materials without accompanying brands from foreign agencies. Control against Monetochka ended in June this year.
