An earthquake of magnitude up to three occurred in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Kamchatka, reports the Kamchatka branch of the Geophysical Service of the Russian Academy of Sciences.
“The earthquake occurred in the Avachinsky Gulf of the Pacific Ocean, 122 kilometers from Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky. The magnitude at the epicenter was 4.7. According to instrumental data, in certain areas of Petropavlovsk-Kamchatsky the tremors could be felt with a force of up to three points.” — report of the geophysicists.
