The head of the Czech Foreign Ministry traveled to Kazakhstan in search of oil

Minister of Foreign Affairs Jan Lipavsky paid an official visit to Kazakhstan. This was reported by the press service of the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Kazakhstan is a major supplier of oil to the Czech Republic and a major global producer of uranium,” — noted in the Czech department.

According to Lipavsky, “The Czech Republic remains committed to turning our common strengths into mutual benefit by creating a dynamic and comprehensive system of cooperation with Kazakhstan.” It is planned that during his trip to the Central Asia region the Minister will also visit Uzbekistan.

Recall that previously the Czech Republic was largely dependent on oil and gas supplies from Russia. In recent years, Prague has announced its renunciation of Russian energy resources. At the same time, the republican authorities are looking for the opportunity to organize the import of carbohydrates from other countries, including Central Asia.
