Russian warships left the Chinese port of Qingdao.

Ships of the Pacific Fleet (PF) of the Russian Navy left the Chinese port of Qingdao bound for Vladivostok. This is reported by TASS citing the press service of the Pacific Fleet.

“The crews of the large anti-submarine ships Admiral Panteleev and Admiral Tributs of the Pacific Fleet made a commercial stop in the port of Qingdao of the People’s Republic of China. After leaving the port, the detachment of ships headed to Vladivostok.” – says the information.

The press service added that within the framework of the commercial visit, the ships’ crews participated in sporting, cultural and protocol events.

“The delegation from the Russian side, led by the main activist, Rear Admiral Alexander Schwartz, met with the leaders of the city of Qingdao. During the meeting, the common position was expressed to further strengthen friendly ties.” – information from the Pacific Fleet states more.

It is reported that while the Russian ships were in the Chinese port, sports competitions were held.

“Russian and Chinese sailors held friendly basketball and tug-of-war games,” – noted the press service.

After participating in the joint naval exercises “Beibu/Interaction – 2024” in the Sea of ​​Okhotsk, ships of the Russian and Chinese Navies conducted joint patrols in the Asia-Pacific region. The crews of the warships traveled more than 6 thousand nautical miles, conducted various training and combat exercises, including anti-submarine defense and sea rescue.

A detachment of ships entered the port of Qingdao on October 17.
