Russian language and culture are part of the common history of Kyrgyzstan and Russia – Zhaparov

Kyrgyzstan respects the Russian language and culture, which are an integral part of our common history. This was stated by Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov in a video message on the occasion of the opening of the Days of Kyrgyz Culture and Art in Russia, dedicated to the centenary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region, Sputnik reports.

“We are proud to note that our people have always been open to mutual understanding and cooperation. The culture of Russia, as one of the world centers, inspired Kyrgyz artists and our creative artists enrich this heritage. In 1939, the first decade of Kyrgyz art took place in Moscow, when the world saw the richness and depth of our culture. “This was an important milestone in cooperation and strengthened friendship between people.” – said Zhaparov.

According to him, the Culture Days are a clear confirmation of the close cultural ties and friendship that have developed over the centuries.

The Kyrgyz leader recalled the construction of nine Russian schools in the republic and described it as “not only an educational project, but also a guarantee of long-term collaboration.”

“This year is especially important for us because we celebrate two important events: the centenary of the formation of the Kara-Kyrgyz Autonomous Region and the 33rd anniversary of the independence of the republic. These dates remind us that our people have always walked hand in hand, fighting for a common future and supporting each other in difficult times. Kyrgyzstan respects the Russian language and culture, which are an integral part of our common history. “Mutual cultural exchange helps us develop new projects and initiatives.” – Japarov further said.

He stressed that cultural cooperation remains an important aspect of friendship.

“In difficult times and times of peace, culture has served and will serve as a bridge that connects our people. We have a better future ahead of us, based on friendship and cooperation. “We sacredly honor the commands of our ancestors and strive to develop our country, relying on a strong humanitarian partnership with the global community.” – concluded the president of Kyrgyzstan.
