The powerful typhoon “Kong-Rei” that hit Taiwan on November 1 had tragic results.

According to the Emergency Management Center, 515 people were injured and 2 people died as a result of the natural disaster.
The strong winds and torrential rains that accompanied the typhoon caused numerous destructions and casualties. Among the dead was a 56-year-old foreigner who was hit by a tree and a 48-year-old man who was hit by a fallen electricity pole.
Taiwan authorities are taking all necessary measures to eliminate the consequences of the natural disaster and provide assistance to victims.
