Chingiz Mehdiyev, department head of the Baku city ring operating company, accused of embezzling money intended for “Formula-1”, suffered an accident.
According to “Qafqazinfo”, Mehdiyev was injured in the accident.
The defendant, whose legs were restrained, made it to the courtroom with the help of his attorneys and a cane.
A witness participated in the process. He confirmed his statement in the investigation.
It should be noted that Chingiz Mehdiyev is accused of embezzling 400,000 manats of state funds through fraud during the organization of the “Formula-1” games. Mehdiyev is not in prison. He was taken into police custody during the preliminary and judicial investigation period.
