Due to heavy rains in the city of Baku, the fallen fence of secondary school No. 269 located in Khatai district has not yet been repaired.
Oku.Az reports that information about this has been spread on social networks.
It was noted that although 12 days have passed since said incident, the restoration work has not yet been carried out:
“The fence collapsed on the eve of the rains that began on the afternoon of October 21. However, 12 days after the incident, no work has been done to rebuild the fence. The collapsed part of the fence is almost in front of the main entrance to the school, and children often approach it, in addition, on the other side of the fence there is a danger of overstepping.
It is also stated in the information that this occurred five years ago in August during heavy rain.
Responding to our query, the Khatai district executive authority said that relevant institutions have been informed about the issue. The matter is under control and will be restored in the near future.
It should be noted that yesterday, in response to our query from the Department of Education of the city of Baku, it was highlighted that appropriate measures are being taken to eliminate the complications that occurred in educational institutions due to the heavy rains that fell on 19 October. 22.
A request was again addressed to the Department of Education of the city of Baku on the mentioned issue.
It should be noted that as a result of the aforementioned rains, a part of the fence that surrounded the playground of secondary school no. 123 located in the Mardakan settlement collapsed and the teaching process was temporarily suspended.
