The exciting atmosphere occurred when dozens of residents appreciated the shelter in the village of Tankil, RT 004/RW 001, the village of Tankil, the Sidahu district, the Sukabumi Regensi.

Halfway, the house is allegedly used as a place of religious worship without the official permission of the government, which caused riots among people.

The riots of the inhabitants reached the peak this week, when hundreds of residents from the village of Tankil came directly to the house.

The masses urged that the religious actions that occurred were immediately terminated, and the function of the house will be returned as a residence in accordance with applicable licensing.

Chapter RT 04, Hendra, confirmed the existence of this protest. He explained that the inhabitants felt embarrassed, because the house was used several times for religious events, including the mass in which dozens of people were present. Residents hope that the village government and the authorities will immediately take decisive measures.

“This house was used three times for the mass. Once there were 23 cars once, and one bus came. We reprimanded and refused that this place was not used as a means of worship, ”Handra explained on Sunday (06/29/2025).

The head of the village of Tankil, Ijang Sehabudin, emphasized that the rural government actually made intermediary efforts since a long time.

According to Ijang, the house was legally licensed only as a residence or halfway, and not for religious events. Nevertheless, the homeowner is still worshiping, despite the fact that he received a reprimand and participation from local residents.

“The legality of this place is intended only for a house halfway or a place for life. But reality is used for worship. The community finally moves independently because it seems underestimated, ”he said.

Ijang added that the villages, along with the elements of the trash, including Babins, Bhabinkamtibmas, the head of the police Sidah and the Indonesian Ulem (MUI) Council, took steps to prevent this religious conflict three weeks earlier, but religious activities continued.
