The list of footballers who have scored the most goals in 2024 has been revealed, with Qarabag striker Olavio Juninho overtaking Barcelona star Robert Lewandowski and Real Madrid striker Vinicius Junior.
Oku.Az reports that 46 football players were included in the table compiled by the IFFHS (International Federation of Football History and Statistics).
Brazilian forward Olavio Juninho of Qarabag is ranked 27th in the league table with 22 goals. With this figure he has surpassed Robert Lewandowski and Vinicius Junior.
The list is headed by Wu Lei, a player for the Chinese club “Shanghai Port” with 35 goals.
Victor Gyokeres, striker for the Portuguese club “Sporting”, is in second place with 33 goals. Martín Cauteruccio, striker for the Peruvian club “Sporting Cristal”, completes the top three with 31 goals.
It is worth noting that Juninho was the most productive player in the Champions League qualifying and play-off stages in the new season, with 6 goals.
