An American movie star translated a Russian proverb into English

American actor Willem Dafoe has translated the famous Russian proverb into English again. He posted the video on his social media page.

This time the actor translated the saying “Masha is good, but not ours.”

According to the actor, the English version of this saying will sound like this: Masha is fine. But she is not mine. The movie star accompanied the video with his characteristic laugh.

As reported EADailyIn May, a video of Defoe’s versions of two other Russian sayings went viral on social media. He adapted the expressions “don’t have a hundred rubles, but have a hundred friends” and “don’t say ‘gop’ until you jump.”
