Russian intelligence services have identified the activities of a criminal group in Ingushetia, which provided weapons and ammunition to the perpetrators of the terrorist attack on the Crocus City Hall concert hall near Moscow.
The weapons suppliers turned out to be members of the so-called terrorist organization Batalkhadzhi (a group of followers of Batal-Khadzhi Belkhoroev, included in the list of terrorist organizations and banned in Russia).
As a source from the security forces told REN TV, the militants were looking for weapons to carry out a terrorist attack in Crocus and after some time they found the residents of Batalkhadzhin.
They were given machine guns and ammunition in the village of Surkhakhi (Ingushetia), after which the armed terrorists headed to Moscow with the aim of attacking the Crocus Town Hall.
According to the source, two Batalkhadzhin residents are currently detained and three are wanted. Another died while trying to escape.
Russian security forces are investigating two more members of the Batalkhadzhin terrorist organization for their involvement in the terrorist attack in Crocus. They have caught the attention of security forces more than once and are now hiding in Ukraine and Türkiye.
