Israeli military official who is recognized in targeted civilians near the distribution centers of assistance in gas

This partial recognition proceeds after the Haaretz newspaper said in the testimonies of soldiers and officers, who confirmed that they received orders to shoot in unarmed crowds in order to remove them, even without the actual threat of the Israeli armies

The military official said that the army “is currently working in various ways”, noting that the shooting was “to maintain a regime at the points of distribution of food”, adding that some of these operations led to the murder of civilians from an artillery fire, which was described as “unaccounted”.

He added that one of the incidents that he classified as “the most dangerous” led to an injury from 30 to 40 people, some of which were killed, knowing that local sources in the gas sector and international and international human rights and organizations on human rights confirm the transformation of assistance centers into “deadly traps” to target civilians.

“Haaretz” launched direct testimonies from the soldiers and officers who recently served in this sector, and said that over the past month they received orders to shoot in unarmed civil crowds in order to keep them from food trucks, although there is no direct threat.

In his original response to the newspaper, the representative of the Israeli army did not deny the existence of such instructions. But in a later statement, he argued that “the army does not deliberately release fire for civilians as a whole, nor those who are in the immediate vicinity of the distribution of assistance.”

On the other hand, the soldiers who spoke with the newspaper reported that they received orders to shoot those who are suspected of plundering trucks, although they usually control over long distances, ”and they are not really dangerous”, according to the expression of one of the soldiers.

The army indicated that its mission was limited to “providing for help entering the sector,” and did not deliver her to the distribution centers in the depths. The distribution units are mainly managed by the American company (SRS), but the army said that assistance based on instructions issued by the political level is also distributed outside this framework.

The army leadership decided to temporarily close the distribution center for assistance in the Tal -EL -SUSSULTA al -Sout and create a new point next to it in order to “reduce friction with the civilian population and ensure the safety of distribution personnel”, according to the description of the army.
