The Civil Guard arrested three members of a gang specializing in Thefts in luxury homes in Ibiza during the summer. They are accused of at least 22 crimes with a total value of more than 540,000 euros. Two of those arrested were sent to prison.
These people are accused of alleged crimes of robbery with force, robbery with violence and burglaries inside the houses. Many victims reported to the Civil Guard that they had noticed a certain dizziness upon wakingIn addition to general discomfort such as vomiting and dizziness, it is therefore believed that the alleged perpetrators they used a certain type of gas which caused drowsiness.
Thanks to the investigation, the Ibiza judicial police team was able to find the authors’ home by locating the vehicles they used to commit the robberies, which had also been previously stolen.
This week, a search was conducted at a home and inside, several items related to the reported robberies were found, such as high-end watches, sunglasses, jewelry, designer bags, cell phones and cash. Officers also found the clothing they used to commit the robberies.
Furthermore, it is known that this criminal group has present on the island of Ibiza since 2019.
