Abascal threatens PP with not supporting regional budgets if it agrees with government on migration

The president of Vox, Santiago Abascalwarned the PP this Monday that if it reaches an agreement to reform the immigration law with the PSOE, it will be difficult for his party to support the regional budgets for 2025 in the communities where the Popular Party governs.

“Obviously, a yes to immigration law “This would have consequences in the regions and it would be very difficult for us to vote budgets for them,” said the leader of Vox during a press conference at his party headquarters.

Abascal accused the PP of “big scam” in their “theatrical” opposition to the PSOE, given that, according to them, they actually support the government on key issues, including immigration policy.

He also regretted that the PP took for granted the support of Vox for a hypothetical motion of censure led by its president, Alberto Nuñez Feijooespecially if at the same time he seeks the vote of the Junts deputies, a support which “generally turns out to be very costly”.
