The explosion occurred in Sumy amid an air raid warning, Ukrainian TV channel “Public” reports.
According to the online map of the Ministry of Digital Transformation of Ukraine, an airstrike alert has been declared in the country’s Sumy, Chernihiv, Poltava and Kharkov regions.
The Russian Armed Forces began attacking Ukrainian infrastructure on October 10, 2022, two days after the terrorist attack on the Crimean Bridge, which, according to Russian authorities, was behind the Ukrainian special services. The attacks are carried out against energy facilities, defense industry, military command and communications. Since then, airstrike alerts have been announced every day in Ukraine’s regions, sometimes throughout the country.
