The Government will include Andalusia in the declaration of areas seriously affected by DANA

Pedro Sánchez announces the creation of an interministerial commission to promote “urgently and quickly” the reconstruction and economic recovery of these areas

The areas of Andalusia worst stops by DANA They will be included in the declaration of seriously affected areas, as President Pedro Sánchez confirmed on Saturday.

In an institutional statement after the Crisis Committee, Sánchez announced this Saturday that the Council of Ministers will approve next Tuesday the declaration of an area seriously affected by a Civil Protection emergency for the places in the Valencian Community, Castile-La Mancha, Andalusia, Catalonia and Aragon that were hardest hit by DANA.

As has been explained,and an interministerial commission will be created which will work to promote “urgently and quickly” reconstruction and economic recovery of these areas and that in addition, the Ministry of Finance will authorize the Government of the Valencian Community to carry out “all the emergency expenses it needs, without any limit of resources”.

In this sense, the president indicated that they have already created around a hundred positions of temporary civil servants who will join the Government sub-delegations and to the Government Delegation of the Valencian Community from this Monday to accelerate all processing of aid to those affected by the storm.

At the same time, Sánchez indicated that the Executive is in communication with the European Commission and that procedures have been initiated to ask the help from the European Solidarity Fund and the use of other community support resources from the European Union.
