Serbia will continue to support the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Azerbaijan, Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Djuric said at a press conference with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov on September 2.
“We will continue to support Azerbaijan’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. This is a matter of principle. Azerbaijan also supports our territorial integrity and sovereignty. We are grateful for this. This is our support for international law.” – said Djuric.
He thanked his colleague for his support in international organizations, as well as for his assistance in economic matters.
“Serbia has doubled its GDP in less than 10 years. We have reduced unemployment in our country. Azerbaijan also helped us in these matters. We want to be a reliable partner of Azerbaijan in Eastern Europe. We want the same to happen in Azerbaijan, so that partnerships are strengthened. The positive development in Azerbaijan has made me happy. At the political level, we have the desire to do more. It is also planned to strengthen cooperation in the military sphere.” – said Djuric.
The meeting took place within the framework of the official visit of the Serbian Foreign Minister to Azerbaijan.
