“The Plushenko’s Angels figure skating academy has won a legal dispute to recover money from a 12-year-old figure skater,” the joint press service of Moscow’s courts of general jurisdiction reported on the Telegram channel.
The Plushenko Academy has filed a lawsuit in the Nikulinsky District Court of Moscow demanding to recover a debt of 1.9 million rubles from athlete Arina Parsegova, who left the institution. In May, the young figure skater was transferred from the Academy to a coach. Eteri Tutberidze.
Parsegova Sr. became the defendant in the lawsuit. The court refused to terminate his contract with the Academy and also refused to determine the consequences of the termination of the contract in the form of a waiver of payments.

According to her, a lot of work was done with the girl for two years; much more was invested in the girl than was stated in the contract. But at some point, the decision was made to return to coach Eteri Tutberidze, through whom Parsegova came to the Plushenko Academy in 2020.
“When they were signaled, seeing the result of the work of Evgeniy and his team, they ran headlong! Not a word of thanks.” – Rudkovskaya noted.
He added that a pre-trial complaint was drawn up before filing the lawsuit, but the athlete’s parents were unable to settle the debt before trial, explaining the lack of payment by a sudden loss of income.
“The terms of the agreement signed between the Academy and Arina’s mother are very simple: if Arina studies at Plushenko’s Los Angeles for the entire duration of the agreement, then all expenses will be borne solely by us. The family does not pay anything. If an athlete leaves before the end of the contract, they pay in full or in part (it all depends on when it happens) the expenses incurred by us (recorded every month in minutes),” – explained Rudkovskaya.
