Due to the return of pilgrims to the country, passengers have had problems at the Nakhchivan International Airport. That is why they are having difficulty finding a ticket to come to Baku.
“Sometimes we sleep on the floor, sometimes outside. I am a sick man, we stay here with the child. It is always like this here. Every time we come to Nakhchivan, we sleep at the airport for three or four days,” said the passenger.
In this regard, Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) CJSC said that despite the busy schedule of flights on the Nakhchivan-Baku route, AZAL takes all necessary measures to transport passengers from Nakhchivan to Baku:
“The airline will operate three additional flights today for the arrival of pilgrims outside the scheduled flight schedule to the capital. Three additional flights are scheduled for tomorrow, which will allow for a faster delivery of passengers to Baku.”
