The kings will be accompanied by the President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, and the President of the Generalitat, Carlos Mazón. From the Palacio de la Zarzuela they did not want to inform about the areas they will visit.
Since last Tuesday, the Reyezes have been in constant contact with local authorities to learn about the damage caused by DANA and the needs of each locality.
Yesterday at noon, Don Felipe held an extraordinary office with Sánchez, where they analyzed the last hour of the situation in the affected areas.
From the first moment of the catastrophe, Felipe VI placed the members of the Household of the King at the disposal of the government. To the 100 soldiers of the Royal Guard, placed at the disposal of the Ministry of Defense, 42 other agents of the King’s Security Service joined yesterday, to collaborate in all the specific tasks entrusted to them.
