Authorities in Russian Kaliningrad reported that unknown persons shot at a bus in the street with a pneumatic gun. Narvskaya and tram on Leninsky Prospekt.
According to the city administration, the incident occurred on the afternoon of November 1. There were no victims. This is already the sixth case in a year in which public passenger transport is attacked with pneumatic weapons.
It is stated that the buses were attacked twice and the trams four times. City authorities asked witnesses who may have seen the shooters to come forward.
According to the latest information from local sources, on Saturday, November 2, the Kaliningrad police arrested a 17-year-old boy who was shooting at a tram with a pneumatic weapon.
The press service of the regional section of the Ministry of the Interior issued the corresponding statement today.
“Today, officers of the Russian Department of Internal Affairs in the Leningradsky district of the city of Kaliningrad identified and detained a 17-year-old local resident. According to the preliminary version, he shot at the tram with a pneumatic weapon. According to him, he did it by accident without intending to harm anyone.” – says the message.
The police are verifying this fact. Based on its results, a procedural decision will be made. Police officers are currently identifying those involved in the bus shooting.
