Destruction of the leaders of the “shelters” of the youth movement in the southern part of Somalia

The Somali army announced the destruction of caves and automobile bombs prepared by elements of the militia of the “youth movement” in the south of the country.

According to the Somali news agency (SOUNA), the “National Army in cooperation with the forces of Daravish began the planned military operation in some areas of the horseman of Nizhny Jub.” According to the agency on Sunday, “the operation that occurred at the beginning of the caves was aimed in which the leaders and (militias of Hariji) were hiding to plan terrorist attacks,” noting that “the success of the allied forces in the destruction of caves and detonesting automobile bombs prepared by elements (Haridges of the militias)”.

Military officers confirmed that “the planned operation is part of the ongoing efforts to eliminate the remnants (Hariji militias) in the Joballand state.”

Somalia uses the phrase “Chiriji Police” to designate the “youth movement.”

The movement launches attacks aimed at overthrowing the Somali government in order to grab the decision and strictly realize Sharia.

Meanwhile, the Ministry of Internal Security on Somalia on Sunday called for conflicting parties in the city of Abode Vacca, east of Galadod in the center of the country in order to immediately stop the battles, emphasizing that everyone who has contributed to the conflict and bloodshed of innocent people will be held accountable.

The Ministry stated that in its statement published by the Somali news agency (SOUNA): “We call scientists, famous and intellectuals in the city of Abud and make our contribution to the cessation of hostilities and setting one row to resolve the conflict. Work together to bring the world to the city and immediately put an end to the conflict.

The city of Abud is a stronghold of tribal militias who fought with the “youth movement” near the Somali Army, and between these clans there is always a struggle from the differences, which leads to dozens of dead and wounded.

Somalia has been observing for more than three decades to instability from the resumption of conflicts between tribes and clans, in addition to the attacks of the “youth movement” from time to time.
