Higer! Foreign sides control a number of islands on Bali and NTB/Illustrations
Jakarta – A number of small islands in Indonesia, according to, were controlled by foreign citizens (foreigners). The island is located on Bali and the Western Nusa Tenggar (NTB).
This was stated by the Minister of ATR/BPN Nusron Wahid during the working assembly (Raker) in the Commission of the House of Representatives of II, in the Nusantara building, the parliamentary complex, the Senyan, the Central Dzhakarta, on Tuesday (1/7/2025).
“There are some events, do not know how this process is, suddenly, if a legal situation similar to what we check is, suddenly the land or island is controlled by some foreigners. There is at Bali and in NTB, ”Nusron said.
Nusron himself claimed that he did not know the details of the documents of ownership of the island by foreign parties.
“But, in fact, the island built a resort built on a foreign name,” he said.
Currently, he also launched a team to check the documents of the island owner. He argued that the rules banned foreigners to own the island in Indonesia.
